Who: Saint Patrick, Will Stutely, momentary Tuck
What: Meeting of the gingers
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Tuck's church
Warnings/Notes: TBA
To Patrick, the idea that he was being asked to stand guard over Tuck's congregation was probably as ridiculous as it was to anyone who saw him doing it. Patrick was sure George would have been a better choice, but George was busy. And Patrick did have a lot of power behind him, even if he wasn't usually a fighter. In that sense, neither was Francis, and Francis still terrified the Sheriff of Nottingham. Patrick was sure, if he needed to, he could do something to freak the man out. Or just shoot confetti into his eyes and run.
Patrick enjoyed the sermon immensely, listening to Tuck as he preached about love and acceptance and God welcoming all his children, now matter who they were. Patrick sort of wanted to keep coming back, even if he wasn't looking out for douchebags. This was his kind of Christianity. This was the love of God he had tried to share with an entire country he saw as twisted and dark.
He was still contemplating that when Tuck arrived, another taller man behind him. "Patrick!" Tuck said, leaning in to hug the saint. "Thank you so much for coming. Did you enjoy the service?"
"It was wonderful," Patrick said honestly and with feeling.
"Thank you," Tuck touched his hand to his chest and he grinned. "This is my friend Will Stutely, he's-" and then Ruby was grabbing the reverend's arm and pulling him away. "Oh! Apparently I'm needed, I'll be right back!" Tuck called out over his shoulder, and that left Patrick staring at Will Stutely.
The man Clio was with.
"Heh. Uh. Hi, I'm Patrick," he said awkwardly, holding out his hand.
