Apollo was feeling a little better after his bathroom tryst with Melpomene, and he'd scoured the party afterwards for Erato but there was no sign of her. Urania, though, was standing in all her dark beauty, talking to Topher, and he had to laugh. Of course she'd honed in on the only one of the guys taking an Astronomy class. What a legend she was.
He insinuated himself into their conversation, leaning casually against the wall as Topher, thrilled that someone so beautiful was this excited to talk about space facts, talked about a trip he was planning to watch the Geminids later in the year. "It should be a spectacular night this year," Apollo agreed. "It's not ever year it lines up so well with the new moon. In terms of rarity, though, this year's conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn is going to bring those puppies closer than they've been in four hundred years. The images that come out of that will be the ones to see."
