Much had spent his evening in a pretty good mood, all things considered. His vitally important mission tonight had been to try and wheedle answers out of Lars, especially answers pertaining to the arrival of their newest colleague Vividha. Both Lars and Vividha were stunningly beautiful, it would be a complete shame if nothing happened between them. So Much was teasing and wheedling and having about as much success as he might have if he'd milked a stone.
Every now and then Lars would let slip a little smile, like he was enjoying it though. Enjoying it, but not going to say a damn word.
He made compartmentalising work so easy. Much had forgotten by the end of his shift he was going to message Stutely, buy the man a beer and then walk home together in case the Sheriff was waiting. The streets were so packed though, it wasn't like he'd be walking back to the Subway on his own, heaps of people were pouring out of one of the nearby cinemas and heading that way. Safe enough, all things considered, just to join the stream of people and disappear into the crowd. It helped sometimes, being a normal sized human person and not one of his freakishly tall friends.
Much turned as the girl whistled at him, and he gave her an amused, if slightly perplexed grin. "Hey you right back," he said. She seemed a little familiar, but he assumed she was someone he'd seen in the bar earlier. "What's cooking?"
