"It is," Tuck nodded. He knew it was because belief was influencing him as darker and more cruel, but he wasn't going to excuse it when the darkness and cruelty was trained on him and the people he loved. "Every other plan - every single one - has a reason why it won't work. This one will," he said, patting the floor beside him. "But it's awful. Unconscionable. I just want us to be able to live our lives. To be happy. Why has he made it his personal fucking mission to try to take that from us?"
