"NO!" Addy yelled, "he's just a bully! Just a bully, that's all he is!" Addy yelled, anger and adrenaline powering her. She was going to crash soon, but for now, she had fire behind her one good eye. "You are not going to break me," she said to Lucifer, firming her jaw.
"Maybe not," Lucifer said, "but I will get you to shut up." He dropped the cattle prod and stalked out of the basement.
Addy glanced at her brother, her body slumping a little now that she didn't have to stand up to the devil. "You can't let him break you," she hissed at him. "Iestyn."
