Addy didn't want to talk about her back at all. It was easier to ignore if she was focusing on the feeling of having food in her belly. It hurt though, because of course it did. Her back felt like it was on fire. She hoped it wouldn't get infected. "It's fine," she lied. She went to hide the food in her blanket, and then she moved back towards the window.
