Good day! Would yourself and your brother be prepared to see me?
Wilhelm looked down at his phone, then across at Jacob, who was making them both some afternoon tea in their tidy kitchen. He had heard his brother express a willingness to listen to the goddess’ words before, but he wasn’t sure how forgiving he would immediately be- which presumably is why the lady was messaging him and not his brother. His fingers hovered a moment over the screen.
Yes, I think so
Wonderful! I’m free now?
I think that this evening would be okay
He opened his mouth to talk to Jacob and ask him what time would be suitable, to prepare him a little, and was interrupted by a knock at the door. Carefully, he got up and opened it. “Hello!” A tiny golden-haired woman stood there, dressed in tulle and embroidered flowers and carrying a basket. “I brought tarts!” “Good afternoon,” Wilhelm replied with a perplexed frown, because he didn’t recognise the lady, although he could tell she was immortal. She was looking at him with a hopeful, expectant smile. He looked back over his shoulder at Jacob. “Ah- Bruder, I think Fairytales has come to see us.” |
