WHO St David, Friar Tuck WHEN Tuesday night WHERE St Patrick's garden WHAT comfort for the father WARNINGS tba
Two days.
His children had been gone for two days.
David knelt with his head bent, hands clasped before him in prayer, much the same as he had for almost two whole days, asking, begging his God to let his children come home safe.
Everyone had been so helpful searching. He was vaguely aware that Anthony was trying to locate them. Patrick had come and kept him up to date with everything that was going on. Normally in a crisis, David would be the one feeding the troops, but he had lost the will to do anything but pray, because there was nothing else he could do. He didn’t really know who else was involved at this point. Micheal had come to look sorrowfully at him for a bit, and eventually told him they’d had no luck.
So David prayed until his body went numb, hands clasped, and just hoped fervently for the best.
