It didn't really surprise him, but it never stopped being enraging, the way people forever found ways to dress up their cruelty and violence in a respectable haircut and a fancy turn of phrase. He shook his head in commiseration. "Lord, that might just make me cry. Bad enough hearing that vile rot from grown men and women." He crunched down on the chip, mulling on that, before adding, "Though I s'pose our kind haven't been all that good at learning from history, either."
