At the mention of the library, Peitho laughed as though everything were falling into place. "Ah, a library, I'm sure she was beyond happy with that. I've met few people who devour as many books as Luna. She's got them piled up in her bedroom. I'm starting to think we might have to buy the apartment downstairs to start storing them all."
Which, in all honesty, Peitho would happily do. The idea of Luna having her own apartment stuffed full of books brought Peitho a sense of contentment. It would bring her so much happiness, and after Michele, after Ares, perhaps her girl deserved more happiness.
She still felt guilt for the Colorado trip, and Peitho so rarely felt guilt at all.
Peitho was once again watching Merlin was great consideration. "Tell me," she said after thinking, "what sort of magic do you control? Hecate is my husband's wife so I see a lot of great magic, but I'm interested in your specialties."
