Addy met David's eyes, and she smiled at him, showing her appreciation for the way he was comforting Iestyn. Sure, he was their father, but she had been Iestyn's comfort for many years and David was new at this. She wanted him to know she was glad he was here and that he was doing a good job.
"It is, Annwyl. But we're here for you and I'll throw anything else out the window you need me to," she said, leaning in to kiss his hair again. "I'm going to get you some water, okay? You're going to dehydrate like this."
