Natalie had been instructed to wait down at the car for them and when the Greek god reappeared with the girl she'd met on Thursday, Natalie spotted the sort of bruises she used to be so familiar with pre-Conrad.
She got back into the car and from her bag she fished out a packet of dissolvable aspirin and passed it into the back seat with them. "Here," she told Luna, trying not to look at the bruises forming on her neck. "Shouldn't be too hard on the throat and it will help."
Luna reached out to take the packet and slowly peeled two of the pills out of their foil. She put them in her mouth and buckled herself in. Then she let her head drop onto Hermes' shoulder.
