Will held his cup up to Addy's to toast. "To everything that is fucking wrong with the world," he said, and took a gulp.
It didn't take that long to reach the ends of their drinks. The wine tasted so sweet and full-bodied it was like grapes exploding on their tongues. Padding it out with the loaf wasn't a bad idea, but it didn't touch the sides like it would have with regular wine. Will and Addy were both spinning very quickly, giggling at stupid jokes, throwing bits of bread at each other.
As Will drained the last of his wine, he flopped back on the picnic rug with a sigh. "I like having friends who are girls," he said, looking up at Addy.
