Marian had sat down at the table with her computer in front of her and was typing furiously
When Will spoke she looked up at him. "No body, no crime?" Marian repeated, continuing to feel like her disbelief had hit a limit and then finding that there was yet more disbelief to be found. "Oh my god, Will, that is not how it works anymore. They have convicted hundreds of people without a body. There's circumstantial evidence, there's forensic evidence. There's-" she leaned in to read something on her screen. "...at least three cameras pointing at Sullivan Park." She continued typing quickly, her fingers clicking loud against the keyboard. "Do you have any idea how scary good facial recognition software is these days? And how much the police use it?"
"Will, if you're on one of those killing the Sheriff- When he comes back all his has to do is charge you with assault and you're finished!" She pointed at Much accusingly. "And you and your fucking phone! Mobile phones are tracking devices. Even when they're off, they are logging your every move."
