"It's alright to swear, I won't tell God," Francis joked a little first. "I don't know if he is capable of monogamy," Francis agreed with that. "Goodness knows he tried." Francis glanced at Tuck and then, as if in silent apology to the man for what he was about to say, he patted Tuck's leg. "I don't know your situation," he started, "but I do know he begged- he asked me to stay with him, just not exclusively. It wasn't something I could do; I'm not cut out for-" Francis shrugged, "but some people are. And it doesn't mean they love each other any less."
