The idea of the whole day to herself wasn't something Luna had prepared for. Even when she was out doing things she was always expected to be contactable, always expected to do anything that was required at any moment.
"Huh," she said, after thinking about it for a moment. "I'll have to think of something cool."
She could turn off her phone and spend the entire day in the Met. No, she should do something else, something she couldn't really do usually.
Go to a movie? Get a long massage? Get lost in New York without any time constraints?
Although when she thought about walking around New York, she pictured herself running right into Ares and then there would be more than trouble.
She considered calling Will to see what he was up to, but he seemed annoyed since the party and she didn't want that energy right now. She didn't want to deal with whatever his problem was, because she feared it was about her rejection.
