"Don't care about fame. I'm just Herc." He shrugged. She didn't need to feel like she had to be some kind of servant to him, she could just be herself. Hercules did not expect other's to treat him with the godlike status he ultimately had now. Maybe at one time that fame and fortune was important, but when he lost everything, destroyed his own family, he spent so many years of torture mentally, his time as an Olympian ultimately short in comparison.
When she said he'd survive he couldn't help but laugh, a deep belly laugh. He smiled. "Think so too."
