Luna and Peitho, 10(ish)
When Luna returned to the party after talking to Will, she saw Peitho across the living room holding court to a group of people (gods? immortals?) that Luna didn't recognise. She couldn't make out what Peitho was saying from this distance, with so many other voices in the room, but she recognised the enamored looks on their faces. She'd seen it on so many others, and she knew it was the same face Luna herself made.
Peitho, looking over now, saw Luna and beckoned her to come join them. And so Luna did, picking her way through the other people until she arrived in front of her goddess. Peitho stood and wrapped her arms around Luna, kissing her cheek and then her lips.
"This is my Luna," she crooned, running a hand over Luna's hair. "My beautiful Luna."
My beautiful Luna. To be adored by Peitho was to be blessed, and Luna knew that she was lucky. She'd been so unlucky in so many ways, with so many things in her life, but now she got to be happy and loved and protected.
Luna gazed at the goddess and said, "I love you."
Peitho's smile was warm and real and it lit up every dark place inside of Luna. "I know, my darling." Another kiss before Luna was sat down next to Peitho on the green velvet lounge, being introduced to the other gods. Luna ran her thumb across Peitho's thigh, and Peitho's soft touch was on the back of her neck.
