Luna looked back over her shoulder, searching the room for Peitho and Hermes and finding them both occupied. She nodded to Will and took his hand so that she wouldn't lose him as they picked their way through the couches and cushions and groups of people.
His hand was warm.
She led him down the hallway and to the spare bedroom. The door was open and so she dropped Will's hand and slipped inside. At the far side of the room was a sliding door, and outside of that a small balcony.
The sounds of the city were louder the moment she opened it, but once they were outside it was as though the party didn't exist. "I'm not being moody," Luna assured him once they were alone. "I'm just not quite feeling all this tonight." She offered her glass to Will, realising his didn't have a drink. "Espresso martini?"
