"No, it's open," David called back. He'd just been trying to fold clean laundry to put it away, but Daisy the cat kept pouncing on it and unfolding it again, making the task quite a bit longer than anticipated, but a bit more fun.
He'd sort of missed Iestyn's presence the past couple of nights. He was happy that his son had found a relationship outside of their tight-knit family of saints, but he did hope he'd be alright. Bards were a canny folk, whimsical and following the whims of love too. But Iestyn wasn't about to heed his funny old dad trying to be protective, so David let him go and find it out for himself.
Aderyn seemed to have cheered up a bit since the drag show, though, and he felt happy that they were getting along a little better.
