Will finally left the doorway to his room to come and sit carefully down in the kitchen, resting his head on his hand. "Yeah, on this side," he said, pointing at the side of his mouth that didn't have a gaping hole in it. He was quieting down now that Tuck was taking charge, and Iestyn could see that the friar was right in that Will was clearly going through a lot physically. He had Iestyn's sympathies.
"I know what it's like to get shocks from bad people," Iestyn said quietly, giving Tuck a sympathetic smile. Will looked at him thoughtfully, trying to pick out what had attracted Alan to him. He guessed he was kind of cute, if a bit young for Will's tastes.
