Iestyn sighed, but he relaxed and put his arm around his sister to give her a hug. At least she was happier.
"I got chips?" Sloth said, holding up the bag from the middle so a decent amount fell out on her face and she cracked up laughing.
Heavy footsteps tramped down the stairs. David had returned from his afternoon of prayer feeling his equilibrium returning, and much better able to handle this parenting thing. He was going to find his children and talk to them and fix all their problems. The main problem being, he couldn't find them.
A bark of laughter from below drew his attention to the basement, and he remembered that the twins had gone down there to listen to music with Wrath a few times. He still felt a little guarded around the Sin, despite everything- he did trust her but not all the way. She seemed to be good company for them though. So he headed down.
"Iestyn? Aderyn? Are you two down here?" As his head moved below the floor line of the room above, he was hit in the face with a warm cloud of green smell. And not the green he usually associated with.
"Oh Lord." His equilibrium just flipped up. Oh this was a great start. Just great. Iestyn was staring at him with round eyes and there was another Sin in there with her legs crossed, crying with laughter and moaning about trying not to wet herself.
This parenting thing was the worst job in the world.
