Adina watched her father like a hawk. He seemed as flippant as ever, but he had learned of the cultures and how to travel this world now like a modern person. She'd never seen buildings this tall before. People seemed so complacent. Were they all like this?
Once they came to the ice cream place it suddenly felt cold. She was used to the warmth of Hell. She could smell----well she wasn't really sure what that smell was. Her nose hit the air like a cat and she stepped towards the glass cases with the many different varieties of cream inside. She poked her finger towards the one that looked like it was bleeding (which was really cream cheese with cherries mixed in), the glass cracked immediately but didn't break.
