Merlin's sudden appearance at Morgan's door surprised her not a bit, even if she hadn't felt him coming. However, she was pleased that he'd given her enough time to have a long bath before he arrived. When she answered the door barely after he'd knocked, Morgan dressed in a white silk robe, hair tied up and dry other than the few curled tendrils that lay damp against the back of her neck.
"Rather as expected," Morgan said, going to collect glasses and returning to the coffee table in front of the couch with them. She'd be pleased to leave this rented place behind and return to her own much more luxurious apartment soon. "Arthur showed up and made a big show of fancy words. I let him have Lancelot without trouble." She sighed. "The knight has lost his spark, and it's very dull."
