Now wasn’t the time to let something as petty as jealousy run through his system, but emotions were running high already. Marian hadn’t even greeted him. It wasn’t the first or the last time she’d been cold to him, but the current state of the group and their newer member seemed to be hitting most of them hard. Robin remembered more than them and even with the newest member, had her own shared stories—-and that still counted as part of the group to him. He knew each of his groups strengths and their weaknesses, and unfortunately could look past his own. He wasn’t level headed, and that was obvious in his silence. He was calculating and thinking ahead and that usually meant trouble.
Eventually he paced into the middle of the room. He wasn’t going to let guy keep plucking off his members one by one. He’d discussed with Leila if she’d be willing to not only spy on Guy but put herself in the frontline if Robin asked her to. She could handle herself against Guy (or so he hoped). It would keep his attention off the rest of the guys and give Robin a chance to figure out the best way to get Guy in his own rope. It was either that or self sacrifice. “You know who he wants, just let him at me. A face off one on one—-“ Robin had gotten out of these scraps before. Leila quickly jumped up to his side, along with John saying that was the worst plan.
