"You don't know me that well and I imagine being surrounded by new people is probably a little scary. So I know you might not want to because I'm just another stranger, but you can talk to me about anything. Any time. I understand about being a human in this weird world of immortals. I understand about Lucifer. Any time you want to unload and don't feel like talking to a saint about it, I'm here for you if you want me to be," Joey offered kindly. "I'm a youth worker as my day job so I'm here for advice or even just bitching."
When Iestyn mentioned his dress, Joey grinned. "Oh this? It took awhile," he said honestly. "I said I left home at seventeen? That was because my family caught me kissing a boy. I've known I was bi since I was probably about ten, but I kept it to myself because my family was 'rich and important'," he said, complete with finger quotes. "I dressed liked they wanted me to, acted like they wanted me to, got straight A's like they wanted me to. And then one time I finally did something for myself, and when they found out they tried to send me to therapy. When I left there I pretty much threw everything they had made me be out and did the opposite."
