He seemed so gentle and earnest and Aderyn found herself adoring him without giving herself permission. It was most frustrating. He could still break their hearts, but it really, truly seemed like he would rather die than do so.
"She...made reference to those circumstances," Aderyn said with a nod. "She didn't explain why we left, really. Just that we had to. And that you- She told us who you really are.
