Just like that, Norah's smile was wiped from her face. She sat there simply staring at Lachlan. It felt like an eternity had passed by before she said quietly, "I'd say it sounds like you're using again." There was no tactful way of saying it. There was no easy way of asking her brother if he was using again.
In most situations Norah would have smiled at their uncle and given him some sort of greeting. But right now her focus was Lachlan. It was obvious by the serious look on her face she was worried.
