"Egyptian," Hathor agreed easily. "I am Hathor, their goddess of love, among other things." Among many other things, but for now, in this moment, love and beauty would be her domain.
Hathor was aware of Aphrodite, of her position among immortals. She and her family were still often talked about by humans who thought she was only a story.
"I wouldn't be against this idea," Hathor said with a slow building smile, slightly mischievous at the edges, "but tell me about yourself and how you came here to this land." She shook her head a little. "I meet so few who are love anymore, and there's so much need for it."
