Jamie followed behind his father, emerging onto a familiar scene, even if the man in the center of it wasn't someone he knew. He was about to go and say hello, when he heard new voices behind them. Maddy had just come inside, Aidan a little ways behind her. Which probably meant his Aunt Red wasn't far behind.

Jamie hadn't been lying when he said he was down to meet Peter (or meet him properly, given what his father had said), but he couldn't deny it was nice to do it surrounded by people who had already met him and seemed to think he was alright. He hugged Maddy and waved at Aidan, following his dad into the living room.
