Aoife returned home from her date with Adrian, grinning widely like a loon. They had gone out a few times, but this time Adrian had kissed her. Aoife had started to believe he never would. And while Aoife wasn't yet aware of the specifics of why not, she could sort of guess. So not only was she pleased for herself, she was damn proud of Adrian. So damn proud that when he dropped her off on the stoop of her apartment building, she dreamily told him she would see him sometime soon, and practically floated up the stairs.

"I'm home!" she announced in a sing-song voice. She felt fifteen again, excited over a little kiss. But this was different than being with her former boy and girlfriends. There was just something different about Adrian.

	Dani had been curled up in her bed, watching Netflix and having her dinner. Her new bedroom was about a third the size of her old apartment; she had so much space now, and she loved it. 	"Sounds like a movie," Dani replied, a little wistfully. It wasn't that she was wasting away being single, it was just that she knew the longer she was, the higher the temptation that she'd call Victor again.
