Nicholas rose unsteadily, but almost immediately JJ was there at his side to help him. She walked him all the way down the stairs and out to the van where he opted to lie down in the back.

He was feeling fairly sick.

JJ rounded the van to catch up with Jesse before he could climb in. She held his wrist gently and stared at him with wide, worried eyes. "He has to be okay," she whispered, hoping it was quiet enough that Nicholas wouldn't hear.
