"You mean like how he is when watching horror movies?" Roxanna asked, giggling. "'Don't open the door! Dumbass, why are you going into the basement?!' Etc., etc."

"People in horror movies sometimes deserve to be mocked, OK," Jamie told her. "Some of them are dumb."

"This smells great, Lena, thank you," David said, tucking into his plate.
