"Here's hoping," Andrew muttered as he turned the corner onto Patrick's street. He pulled up in front of the house and shut the car off, looking at it for a moment. It looked almost uninviting, a stark contrast from the numerous other times he had visited, and it made him sad.
"Alright, into the belly of the beast," he said quietly, more to himself than anything else. He headed up the front steps and knocked.
