ALL THE FEEEEEEEEEEEELS
Indeed, Hebe had been steadily pushing herself further and further away from Hercules. After her conversation with her mother she wasn't so sure there was any way of saving their marriage, if there was anything to save. She had talked to him. She had told him her concerns. But he continued to distance himself. So in return Hebe allowed that distance to grow. It pained her to her very core, but if she wanted to live peacefully she had to cut any ties with what hurt her. And right now, that was Hercules.
Although she had felt his presence long before her client saw him, Hebe was very much aware that he had been standing outside the shop all that time. She was focused and poised and she was so naturally comfortable with the young bride and her bridesmaids that she even looked happy. And she was. The only discomfort she felt was when she glanced up at the window when they saw a tall, large man looking through the window. She said something to the bride and handed each of the young women a small bag before they exited the shop. She glanced at Hercules again before cleaning up the table they had been working at. The bride had been playing around with cards and placeholders for the reception, trying to decide what she liked best. Hebe made some notes before filing them away in that particular brides folder. It looked very much like she was avoiding Hercules as she bustled around the shop.
