Thus far, Orestes had managed to only make contact with a few of his own. Unfortunately, one of them had been Helen. He wasn't all too pleased to find that that bitch was hanging around while those who were actually important to him seemed to be nowhere in sight. It made this city feel just as unwelcoming and cold as any other he had been to so far. It also made him want to pack up and get the hell out of there because where Helen of Troy was, trouble was sure to follow. It had been a very appealing idea, but Orestes wasn't known to run away from his troubles. Plus for now Helen wasn't his trouble. He would keep his distance.
There was also the matter of the Furies, but he tried not to think about that. Those psychotic harpies could burn in Hades for all he cared.
It was one of his days off so he had decided to tour one of the nearby neighborhoods. New York City was full of excitement, and at the same time it was very boring because he had no one to share the excitement with. For a long time he believed that it would be just him from now on and he had grown accustomed to that idea. However, with recently discovering his mother-in-law/aunt hanging around, hopes of finding others more worthy of his time began to surface. He tried not to get his hopes too high.
He felt one such presence as he passed by one building. Curiosity got the better of him and he peered into the window for a moment. His view was skewed so he went inside for a better look.
