Hybris looked at Moros dragging Jesse into the van as she bound Patroclus' wrists together behind his back. "Didn't expect a random mortal but hey, more fun! I can't believe they just kind of...walked into the van. Fucking idiots," she said as she pulled the door closed behind them and then banged on the door so Philotes would drive.
Patroclus awoke, his head throbbing and his shoulders aching. He blinked his eyes open and noted his arms were chained above his head, the chains going up to a high ceiling. Six feet in front of him, Jesse was also chained up and Patroclus' heart froze in his chest. Oh Nicholas was going to kill him.
"Jesse," Patroclus croaked, trying to see if the mortal was awake. Or gods, alive! "Jesse!"
