Who: Homonoia, Kyle, Praxidike What: It's a.... When: Wednesday afternoon Where: At the OB's office
Ever since Homonoia found out she was pregnant her hair had gotten even thicker than usual. As soon as it had been confirmed she had gone to work and checked out various books about pregnancy and what to expect. Without her mother around at the time she didn't know what was normal and what wasn't. So far things had been running smoothly. So when it took her three attempts to get her hair into a ponytail that morning, each resulting in the destruction of said ponytail, she had given up. Her hair was simply too thick now to bother putting it up, and it frustrated her that her usual routine was being squandered by hair. She ended up leaving her hair down and went on with her daily business.
She left work early that day to go to her appointment, telling both Kyle and her mother where to meet her and at what time. When she arrived at the office her mother was already there, looking as patient as she always did. Homonoia offered a smile, "Hello, mother."
Praxidike greeted her daughter with a smile of her own, "Hello. I haven't seen Kyle yet."
"He'll be here soon, I'm sure," said Homonoia in return. She checked her phone to see if he had texted her. Instead of finding one, she sent him one to let him know she and her mother would be inside waiting.
