Rhea wasn't known for getting out and going to Olympian parties, even though she had sided with them. She wasn't much of a party-goer to begin with, but she did enjoy getting together with others. If she was ever needed she didn't shirk away from her duties. She did prefer to watch from afar and gauge of people's reactions before jumping in. Unless it had to do with babies and laboring mothers. In which case she would roll up her sleeves and jump right in to offer a helping hand. (She had been present for Leto's labor and delivery, after all. And various others as well.)
She hadn't ever officially met her grandson, but that didn't mean she didn't know who he was when she saw him. She had a keen eye and she liked to know who was around. "Good," she said, sounding pleased. "You have no idea who I am, do you?" She seemed amused. "I'm your grandmother, Rhea." She looked him over, "are you sure you're alright?"
