The things they had gone through in the last few years had brought them closer than Homonoia had been with anyone in a long time. It was on par with her family, whom she hadn't seen in a long time. Kyle was her family, and the baby they had created was only going to add to that. In all her years, this would be Homonoia's only child, which was a feat in itself when it came to most Greeks.
She smiled when she saw Kyle and kissed his cheek after he set her back down. "Hey, ready to go?"
Alt had stopped talking when the obvious husband showed up, looking him up and down. They were like complete opposites. Homonoia didn't appear to have a single tattoo, while her husband very obviously had several. They didn't fit, but they did at the same time.
Alt cleared his throat and winked at the pair, "You must be the husband."
Homonoia had hoped seeing Kyle show up would have scared him off, but no such luck. She liked her little bubble. She didn't like new people coming in and disrupting it. Especially not when she had worked so hard to protect it. She glanced at alt and looked back to Kyle. "Yes. This is Alternative. I don't really know what that means, but he's like me. We just met only five minutes ago," she explained.
Alt spoke up then, "The music. Alternative rock," he said proudly. He stuck out a hand to Kyle, "But most people know me as Dave."
