Uriel had been enjoying a day off, curled in the relative peace of a Barnes and Noble when the power flickered off. He glanced Upwards, saw everything the sunlight touched, and realized with alarm that the power had been knocked out for most of the city.
This was going to be a miserable time for the humans.
He stepped out of the bookshop, into the street, and literally ran into his own brother.
"Gabriel?" Uriel asked, a delighted grin spreading across his face. "I hadn't realized you were in the city!"
