Andromache grinned, "There are certain traditions I like to keep. Making food from back home is one of them. Otherwise I think I'd starve to death avoiding the junk they call food these days." She smiled and thanked him, taking her glass. "I hope it meets your expectations," she said, raising her glass a little and then taking a sip. "Mm, this should go perfectly with the lamb," she said with a little nod.
It was a little strange. It was almost as though they were picking up where they left off, except he wasn't on his death bed and she wasn't (outwardly) an old woman. Andromache hadn't dated since returning to life. Partly because the men these days had a lot to live up to, and partly because she hadn't felt compelled to attach herself to anyone. Hector and Helenus were not men who were easily forgotten.
She took another sip, considering his question. "In truth, not all that much. You already know I've been trying to avoid an unpleasant reunion with Neo. I keep in touch with your sisters, of course." Andromache had been one of very few who ever listened to Cassandra, and she still took her sisters words very seriously. "I recently hired someone, one of the Saint's, to look for Hector," she admitted. "I'm beginning to wonder if he's making any effort. I haven't heard from him," she said with a frown. "If that ever came to anything, I had thought of having him look for you as well, but that's not necessary now," she said with a little smile. She couldn't be silent about looking for Hector. She didn't know if Helenus ever planned to find her, and there was no telling where life would lead her. Hector had essentially been ripped away from her, without any chance of the life they had planned. The only solace she had had then had been when Neo died and she married Helenus. He had been more than kind and she stilled loved him for that. But she still needed to know if Hector had risen like they had.
