Honos drove them to the hotel, parked the car, and got out to collect the bags. The hotel was fairly standard, and nice enough to suit their needs. He checked them in and got the keys, collecting Libera on his way back to the elevator.
Four floors up, the elevator dinged and the doors rolled open, hitting them with cool air. Honos guided them down the hall, grateful for the quiet dimness of the room. He set the bags near the door and locked it behind them, before sitting on the bed and falling backward. The whole trip was starting to take a toll on him, and he was starting to feel exactly how tired he was.
