He looked frantic, his heart still crawling it's way out of his throat. When the lights flashed on he instantly covered his eyes with his hands. He'd been in total darkness for over a month, his eyes were sensitive, and his skin felt like it was on fire. He howled for the brightness to be turned off. "It burns," he cried with his hands shielding his face, peeking through his fingers.
