"Tell him hi when you see him next," Terpsichore rasped. The drugs they had given her were great, but the pain was still there at the edge of her mind, and it made her shift uncomfortably on the bed.
"Don't they just," he agreed dryly, adjusting his position without ever breaking contact. "It's good to see you as well. It's been a long time."
Thalia nodded. "They're fine, I left them with the Robertson's next door. They're thinking about adopting, so they babysit from time to time, to see what it's like. The twins like them a lot, so I feel comfortable leaving them with them."
David nodded. "No worries, I understand." He shook Clio's hand and said, "I'm David, David Richardson. Miss Tara-Terpsichore, ack, still weird to say it sometimes-she's my teacher at the JKO School."
"He's my favorite," Terpsichore croaked. "Forever fave now, isn't that what the kids say?" David snorted. "Yeah, something like that."
