Hypnos operated much the same way, he tended to walk for blocks and blocks at a time, in no particular direction and with no set destination. More than once, he'd ended up several miles away from his apartment, and he'd had to get the train back, because walking back in the dark wasn't exactly the best thing to do.
It was still early enough that the sidewalk had its share of foot traffic, and Hypnos was having to play his least favorite game: get down the street without colliding with someone. Fate, however, seemed to have other plans, since at that moment, he ran directly into a woman going the opposite way.
"Don't worry about it, it's-" He broke off as he realized who he was looking at, and it was like time screeched to a halt around him. "Hey, Thea," he said, which might have sounded dumb, but it was all he could think of to say.
