"Well I appreciate them looking after you," Jesse said. "We'll have to have them over to the house, once things are back to what passes for normal around here."
Jesse let out another heavy sigh. He was pretty sure he sounded like a deflating tire at this point, but he didn't care. "Yeah," he said quietly. "He's hungry, and he's yelling at the doctors, but if they give him real food, it'll kill him."
