It was sad, but true. Pleione hadn't smiled like this in ages. She couldn't remember when her face hurt so much from all the smiling she had done. She looked a little embarrassed that she hadn't been happier before. She had every reason to be happy. She had her husband, Prometheus was there, and now she was growing a child. "I know, and I'm sorry I haven't seemed so happy before. Just being with you lifts my spirits. I can't wait to give you a child again."
"Well, I think toasting is out. For me, anyway," she laughed. "We could go out?" Pleione was usually a homebody, or else she wanted to go out to the country. For her to actually want to go out somewhere in the city was a big change for her.
