Helen nodded, "I think he was in shock about what happened, anyway. He was very quiet afterward. He actually had to pull me off of Paris before I broke my hands smashing his face," she said, looking at her bruised and batter hands. Helen had gone into a rage after the initial shock and glee of being set free had passed.
"Me too," she said with a little smile. She shook her head, "It's gone by now. They would have given it to someone else. My job, though, I can go back to that. But I might end up changing agencies just to be safe." She looked at him in an almost pleading way, "Patroclus, can you and I go back to being us again?" It was the only thing that really mattered to her.
