Penthesilea was all too familiar with grief. She had lost sisters in the past and had grieved with her fellow Amazons over each and every loss. Even to this day she celebrated the lives they led. Her sisters would always be the most important things in her life, even if they were nowhere to be found.
She had shed tears, though mostly in private. So seeing someone else teary-eyed made her uncomfortable. But she made a promise and she would be there for him no matter what. She wiped away any tears that fell and simply sat there with him. They needn't speak. Silence was perfectly fine with her.
